Cox Automotive Australia’s Q3 Insights Report looks at trends across both the dealer- and wholesale-used vehicle markets.
Dealer inventory levels and sales volumes are up year-on-year, while Manheim wholesale volume has rebounded 40% YoY driven in part by strong fleet & lease turnover.
Prices are down across the retail and wholesale sectors since marketwide price indexes peaked in 2022, but older vehicles and traditional passenger hatchbacks and sedans are bucking the trend.
